Wispr's free tier renews weekly (2,000 words a week on desktop, 1,000 on mobile), which for light use can outlast ahsk's one-time 10,000 words. If your reasons for leaving Wispr are price or translation, yes. If you need Android or on-device transcription, no; ahsk does neither.
Can I import my Wispr Flow dictionary into ahsk?
Not automatically. ahsk's dictionary is a plain list of words in Settings, so pasting your names and jargon in takes a minute. ahsk also learns corrections you make after pasting, on-device.
Is ahsk free?
Yes. Every account starts with 10,000 free words and no card. Pro is €9.99 a month for unlimited dictation, translation and AI rewriting, and one subscription covers Mac, Windows and iPhone.
Does ahsk work offline?
No. Transcription runs on Whisper large-v3 in the cloud, a model we chose for accented speech. Audio is not stored on our servers and is not used for training, and your dictionary and learned words stay on your device. If you need fully offline dictation, ahsk is the wrong tool and we say so.
