Welcome to ahsk! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ahsk mobile application and keyboard extension ("Service"). By using ahsk, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ahsk, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ahsk is a voice-to-text keyboard application that provides:

• •AI-powered web search and questions
• •Real-time translation features
• •Custom dictation modes
• •Text analysis and speed reading tools

3. Account and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• •You must sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In to use ahsk
• •You must provide accurate and complete information
• •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• •You must be at least 13 years old to use ahsk (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)

3.2 Account Termination

• •You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
• •We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Free Tier and Subscriptions

4.1 Free Tier

• •New users receive 50 credits upon sign-up at no charge
• •Free credits allow you to test all features of ahsk
• •Free credits do not expire but are not replenished monthly
• •Once free credits are used, you must subscribe to continue using AI features

4.2 Credit System

• •Transcriptions and AI questions consume credits (0.3 credits per use)
• •Voice translations consume credits based on usage
• •Credit balance is displayed in the app

4.3 Paid Subscriptions

ahsk offers the following subscription tiers:

• •Pro Plan: 500 credits per month
• •Power Plan: 1000 credits per month

4.4 Subscription Terms

• •Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple App Store account
• •Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• •Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• •Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• •You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• •Any unused credits expire at the end of each monthly billing period
• •Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policy

4.5 Price Changes

• •We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• •Price changes will not affect your current subscription period
• •Continuing use after price changes constitutes acceptance of new prices

5. Keyboard Extension and Permissions

5.1 Full Access Permission

ahsk keyboard requires "Full Access" permission to:

• •Transcribe your voice using secure cloud APIs
• •Provide AI-powered web search responses
• •Offer instant translation features
• •Sync settings between the keyboard and main app

5.2 Data Handling

• •Voice recordings are sent to our servers for transcription only
• •Voice data is NOT stored permanently on our servers
• •Voice data is encrypted during transmission
• •We do not access typed text from other apps
• •See our Privacy Policy for detailed data handling practices

5.3 Microphone Access

• •ahsk requires microphone access for voice transcription
• •Microphone data is only captured when you press the microphone button
• •You can revoke microphone access at any time through iOS Settings

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• •Use ahsk for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• •Abuse or exploit the Service in ways that harm other users
• •Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• •Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service
• •Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• •Share your account credentials with others
• •Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

• •ahsk and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ahsk and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• •Your transcriptions and user-generated content remain your property

7.2 License to Use

• •We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ahsk for personal use
• •You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service

8. Third-Party Services

ahsk integrates with third-party services:

• •Google Sign-In: Subject to Google's Terms of Service
• •Apple Sign-In: Subject to Apple's Terms of Service
• •Firebase: For authentication and data storage
• •Groq API: For voice transcription and AI features
• •DeepL API: For translation services (with Groq fallback)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

• •ahsk is provided "as is" and "as available"
• •We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free service
• •We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• •Transcription accuracy is not guaranteed and depends on audio quality, accent, and language

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• •We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• •We are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
• •Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim

9.3 No Warranty

• •We make no warranties about accuracy, reliability, or availability
• •We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements
• •We are not responsible for loss of data or content

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ahsk, its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• •Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

17.1 Apple App Store

By downloading ahsk from the Apple App Store, you agree to:

• •All subscription purchases are handled by Apple
